Please note that the SQDA recognizes that Petitions are an easy way to show your support to a cause, and they do have a part in helping positive changes come about.

HOWEVER THE SQDA BELIEVES THAT THE BEST WAY TO GET A MESSAGE ACROSS IS TO WRITE A PERSONAL LETTER TO YOUR M.P. OR TO THE PERTINENT GOVERNMENT OR MUNICIPAL OFFICIAL RESPONSIBLE FOR WHATEVER SUBJECT MATTER YOU ARE ADDRESSING.

I looked at all the caged animals in the
shelter...the cast-offs of human society.

I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear
and dread, sadness and betrayal. 
And I was angry. 

"God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't
